That failed as well. Anybody from MSFT support? If such a defect is found, return the media to Intel for replacement or alternate delivery of the Software as Intel may select. The chip has been OEL’d so we will not software updates for it.
This Software is licensed for use only in conjunction with Intel component products. Serles under Windows 8, I only have access to my internal boot disk.

Check if it helps. The terms of the software license agreement included with any software you download will control your use of the software.
Please submit your comments, questions, or suggestions here. Only the boot disk. I installed Windows 8 on the configuration that had been running Windows 7 for years, without any changes.

In reply to Arya S Asok’s post on November 16, You may copy the Software onto a single computer for your personal, noncommercial use, and you may make one back-up copy of the Software, subject to these conditions: If you can’t use the drivers, Microsoft doesn’t have the drivers bundled in, and LSI themselves haven’t provided any drivers foryou’re out of luck until one of those three venues offers up drivers.
From my exchange with LSI over exactly this issue: This device cannot start.
